There has been an increase to the number of clinics across the Mid West with a number of clinics specifically for Health Care Workers. As the number of Measles cases has increased recently, it is important to protect yourself and your family against this potentially dangerous and highly contagious illness. It is especially important to ensure you are vaccinated before traveling abroad to countries where the population may not be vaccinated against Measles. The number of Measles cases are rising internationally and already this year in Europe there have been more cases of measles reported than in the whole of 2022.
