Colleagues,

We were delighted to have launched our online community self-paced course “My Self Care - Taking Care of Me” at the Ballyhoura Spreads Hope Event on the 10th of September on World Suicide Prevention Day.

Now more than ever incorporating self care practices into our lives is important in enhancing our wellbeing. It is unique to each of us what self care means to us and how we can overcome the barriers to self care. The online self-paced course guides us to reflect on our self care routine in helping us improve on our wellbeing, build resilience and help counteract stress.

The online course looks at our Emotional, Physical, Social and Intellectual Health and helps us create our own personalised self care toolkit. It helps to ensure that we can give our best in our daily lives, at work, in our relationships, and to those we support.

You can also access the course instantly via a smartphone, using the QR code on the attached poster.

This online self-paced course is accessible 24/7 and can be completed in your own time and at your own pace.

If you could share this with everyone including patients, clients, service users and community partners, it would be much appreciated.
