Colleagues –

Mid West ARIES online self-paced course “Understanding Acute Mental Health Services for Families, Carers & Supporters” has achieved two major successes for Mid West Community Healthcare Mental Health.

At the HSE Excellence Awards 2023, ARIES were highly commended in the “Innovation in Service Delivery” category and won the “HRB Digital Mental Health Implementation Award 2023”. It’s fantastic to have external acknowledgement of true co-production in action that responds to the needs of our staff, service users, family members and supporters.

The overarching aim of the course is to de-mystify the acute psychiatric services; to give families, carers and supporters the information they need, when they need it, at the point of contact.
