Up to the 8 February 243,353 vaccinations have been carried out across the country. Of those,150,789 were given to healthcare workers, and 91,548 vaccines were administered to people in long-term residential care facilities, such as nursing homes.
At this week’s press briefing, CEO Paul Reid said the vaccination plan now moves into the general population, with the beginning of vaccinations for people over 70.

Up to the 27 January, 161,500 vaccinations have been carried out across the country. Of those, 89,900 were given to healthcare workers, and 71,600 vaccines were administered to people in long-term residential care facilities, such as nursing homes.
