Tomorrow, Friday the 16th of February, is the last day that you can get the COVID-19 and flu vaccines together at staff vaccination clinics. If you work in a healthcare setting, you are at high risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and flu. The best protection from getting seriously ill from COVID-19 and flu is vaccination.

Again this year we have teamed up with UNICEF Ireland for the “Get a Vaccine, Give a Vaccine” campaign.
For every healthcare worker who gets the Flu vaccine the HSE will make a contribution to help UNICEF in the fight against Polio in the developing world. We are encouraging all staff to use this opportunity to support UNICEF while availing of your flu vaccination.
Polio is a highly infectious, crippling and potentially fatal disease, particularly for children under the age of 5, and it can be avoided with a vaccine.
