Dear Colleagues,
The health service is taking a new, multi-annual approach to how urgent and emergency care services are planned, delivered and managed. By the end of June, all community, hospital and national services will need integrated 3-year plans in place.
To enable this work, and build on our experience of planning and implementation over the previous few years, an Urgent and Emergency Care Framework is being developed to guide integrated delivery planning and improvement work at local and national level. The draft framework intends to balance local autonomy with national support. This means a focus on actions that we know work, building capacity and our capability to respond to patient need across all service settings.
You and your teams are invited to participate by completing a 5 minute staff survey on a ‘whole-service’ approach to effective urgent and emergency care planning. Please see survey link below.
Please ensure that this survey is cascaded and circulated widely to get as much feedback as possible. Staff can complete it, on their own or in consultation with their colleagues and team members.
Thank you
