- Training
- All staff should have completed the following online HSEland modules:
- Clinical Hand Hygiene in the last 12 months, if you have not received Hand Hygiene training with a Local Hand Hygiene trainer.
- Standard Precautions ‘Breaking the Chain of Infection’ in the last 12 months if you have not attended IPC training in person by a IPC nurse within the last two years.
- Putting on and taking off PPE in community settings.
- All staff are also recommended to watch the Mid-West Infection Prevention & Control video, which includes specific Covid-19 information, including Hand Hygiene, glove use etc.
- Staff must aware of the technique for donning and doffing all items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), so the following video links should be watched also.
