Time: 2 days.
What is it about? 2 day intensive and interactive workshop, participants learn and practice intervention skills while helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide and increasing the support for a person at risk.
Who is it for? Suitable for formal and informal caregivers who are over 18 years of age from health workers, Gardai and teachers to those supporting family, friends and co-workers. It is recommended that participants allow at least two years before attending ASIST if they have been bereaved by suicide.
Cost: Free.
