Time: One academic year. Every Weds morning, with one full day per month (also Weds), from October to May.
What is it about? To give an overview of key theoretical frameworks, contemporary issues in Ireland and develop basic helping and intervention skills. NUI Maynooth, Level 7.
Who is it for? Staff and volunteers of addiction, health, education, justice and other related areas where substance use issues arise. Those with personal experience of addiction must be 2 years in recovery.
Cost: €500 (subsidies available).
