The Making Every Contact Count training programme is available to all healthcare professionals in the Mid West. It was developed in consultation with healthcare professionals and patients in order to provide effective tools and knowledge to carry out a brief intervention with patients or service users.
The eLearning training programme consists of 6 x 30-minute eLearning modules.
Following completion of the online module there is the opportunity to complete an ‘Enhancing your Brief Intervention Skills’ workshop. The next online workshop date in the Mid West is January 26th, 9.30am-12.30pm.
Healthcare professional bodies registered with CORU endorse the training programme (eLearning and workshop) for CPD as part of the healthcare professional’s learning portfolio. The training programme have also been approved by some Healthcare Professional bodies for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points.
